Monday, May 22nd, the third day on board.
The usual onboard newspaper.
Today we arrived in Okinawa at 7am.
The final boarding at 6:30pm.
Since we had already gone through immigration procedures in Kobe,
we needed a passport to disembark in Okinawa.
We would have to re-enter Japan.
We left the country again when we boarded the ship,
and had to go through immigration procedures again at the next port of call, Ishigakijima.
It was quite troublesome.
A strange rule for cruise trips.
You might think that we could just leave the country after we left Ishigakijima,
but once we were out at sea, we were considered a foreign country.
Otherwise, we couldn't go to the casino on the ship, and we couldn't go to the duty-free shops either!
We went to the international dining at 8pm.
Tombo had bread.
I thought that was all, but he also had a Japanese set meal with porridge.
I had a Japanese set meal with porridge and apple juice.
The fish for the day was shishamo.
Shishamo from Hokkaido is delicious!
You don't need to eat a lot for breakfast,
but it takes a while for the food to arrive,
so it takes about an hour.
We entered Japan at Okinawa at 9:30.
I've been to Okinawa many times,
and I just came here in February this year,
but I decided to take a stroll down to Kokusai-dori.
After just an hour, I left Japan again and got on the ship.
When I went out to eat lunch on the 14th floor, I saw a ping-pong table.
Tombo, who likes table tennis,
still wanted to try it even though it didn't have a racket.
Since there was no one around,
we decided to give it a try,
and we started playing together,
and ended up playing for an hour!
Tombo didn't have his own racket,
so he couldn't hit a smash,
so even an amateur like me could play to a certain extent.
Maybe he was just going easy on me? ! (^m^)
After working up a sweat, we had lunch.
The dining area wasn't open at lunchtime on the day we were in port, so we went to the buffet.
A small amount of ramen and a hand-rolled chirashi sushi.
Ham and seafood cocktail.
For dessert, the chocolate mousse tied for first place!
Dragonfly had a hot dog.
Unlike the dining area, the buffet took 30 minutes.
At 12:30, we looked into the gym.
There was no one there!
The pool next to the gym was deserted, too!
We went back to the room, changed into our swimsuits, and returned.
After a shower, we went to the jacuzzi,
and then to the pool!!
It felt so good~
Both my husband and I love marine sports, so we could swim as much as we wanted.
However, unlike when we were younger,
if we swam too much, it would hurt later, so we went to the sauna and shower at a convenient spot.
But!
The shower room was a surprise!
This is getting long, so I'll continue next time.
